| Every time I've written my own bio, I've never been satisfied with the end product. It always sounded too contrived, too promotional, too cut and dry. It was titled "About Me" but when reading it over I never really felt it was actually about me. So this time around I'm just going to ramble and see where it takes me...
I was raised a suburb kid and while I love the idea of a white picket fence I am by no means bounded by it. I love this world and all it offers and I intend on seeing every corner of it. Maybe that sounds like a typical twenty-something attitude but it's the way I've been wired since I was a kid - I just have a hard time with constants. Take my Toys 'R Us shopping excursions for example; when I was young I would decide on a toy, only to change my mind three of four times before actually making it to the register. It's not that I'm indecisive or thought I was upgrading with each swap, my desire for something different just comes over me that fast. I like to think that as I've grown older I've found some comfort in the idea of settling, but there will always be that motivation to - at least momentarily - change scenary.
I think it's this roving mindset that initially attracted me to video production. With content that can change on a daily basis and obstacles that are often new and sudden, it's an environment that keeps me on my toes. But when it stops doing that, I'll move on... I've always wanted to be that old guy who when asked what he did in life, his response is a shmorgas board of ventures. I don't underestimate human capability, so I want to see how much I can cram in this lifespan. A jack of all trades, master of none (in my humble opinion)...
Overall I believe I'm an optimistic person. I wake up every morning feeling happy and blessed, having the same intrepid outlook on the coming day that my favorite comic character Calvin expressed in the final strip of Calvin and Hobbes:
